AN UNFORGETTABLE TIME

Celebrating your holidays at Het Roode Koper? Children will experience days full of fun. They'll discover the woodland, the animals and plants with the special junior hiking map 'Hunting for tracks and traces', the garden offers plenty of room to play football, there is a swimmingpool and tenniscourt.

FAMILY HOTEL IN THE WOODS

Het Roode Koper is a family hotel. (Grand)parents and their (grand)children have been coming here for three generations past. The hotel's relaxed and homely atmosphere and the fabulous nature surrounding the estate guarantee that the kids will enjoy themselves to the full.

A SPLASH IN THE WATER

On warm summer days, the heated outdoor pool is the kids’ favourite place.
With your kids taking another splash in the pool, you can relax on a lounger, drinking a delicious cocktail and just enjoying your day.

A SPOT OF TENNIS

Nestled among the rhododendrons there is our estate's tennis court.
Are your kids challenging you for a game of tennis? The tennis court is open all year round.

bakE your own CAKE

While you enjoy your aperitif near the fireplace or in the restaurant, the kids can go baking their own pizza with one of our chefs.
Do they prefer sweet things? Then they could bake cookies and cakes instead or make their own dessert with our pâtissier.

TOUGH MOUNTAINBIKERS

Follow a cycle route on a mountainbike through the woods and across the heath. On the way you'll pass great spots for a Dutch pancake.
Inform us at time of reservation if you wish to rent children's bicycles or kids mountain bikes. Then they'll be ready for you at arrival.

FUN AND ENJOYMENT

During weddings, family celebrations, but also other (business) gatherings, we set up a special entertainment area. And that ensures that our young guests also have a great time while you enjoy your visit uninterrupted together with your family or friends and have time to host your guests and work on relationships.

GREAT OUTINGS

Within half an hour's drive of our hotel, there are many sporting, recreational and cultural outings to do with the kids. A small selection of the possibilities:

Scrambling and climbing? That's possible at Klimbos Veluwe or at amusement park Koningin Julianatoren, both in Apeldoorn.
Prefer to watch other monkeys doing the scrambling? Then go to Apenheul in Apeldoorn or visit the Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem.
The Dolfinarium is great for seeing seals, dolphins, and other water creatures.
Aside from swimming in our pool, the kids may also swim in one of the woodland swimming pools in the surroundings.
A visit to De Hoge Veluwe National Park with the Kröller-Müller museum is an absolute must.

Museums that are fun and interesting for kids include: Nederlands Bakkerijmuseum (National Bakery Museum) in Hattem, Museonder (underground Nature Museum), Nederlands Openluchtmuseum (Holland Open Air Museum) in Arnhem or Wildpark het Aardhuis (Wildlife Park Nature House) in Hoog Soeren.
